    The world’s first “yacht liner” is finally ready for her close-up.The gigantic 728-foot Somnio, which is something of a cross between a cruise ship and a superyacht, was unveiled to the public earlier this year without any images of the interior. On Tuesday, the first, official renders of the lavish living quarters were revealed, and, boy, it was worth the wait.The epic vessel, which is expected to cost in the ballpark of $600 million, will be one of the biggest residential yachts on the water once complete and offer a total of 39 luxury apartments. With prices starting from $11 million, the condos range in size from 1,600 square feet all the way up to more than 6,500 square feet and come complete with a private balcony or terrace. The largest pad spans almost the entire top deck, just for context.

(Try the Highway 111, a local take on the Old Fashioned that uses bourbon infused with Coachella Valley dates.) The seasonal selection of globally influenced small plates by chef Stephen Wambach makes it easy to linger in the lantern-lit dining room or under the stars on the patio. Sharing is encouraged, if only so you can try as many dishes as possible, such as foie gras and berries with brioche, and sea urchin served with almond, grapefruit, and parsnip.

But for those who have not much clue in making your restaurant visit a memory to cherish, here are some tips for a great restaurant experience.

    1. Location of the Restaurant

    Choose a restaurant you can walk to. When you want to have a great time, driving afterwards can pose a real problem. Choose a restaurant that is close by where you can easily walk or where it is easy to get a cab. Another 50 bucks for a cab to go to a restaurant adds unnecessary expense.

    Of course, it is different when the location is truly superb: a lake, seaside, riverside or a spectacular view of the mountain or an architectural gem. But food must be excellent to enjoy a $50 cab ride value.

    2. Ambience Matters

    Sometimes, the restaurant may be beautiful but the décor is not to your taste. It jars your senses. Go to a place where you enjoy the general atmosphere.

    Do they play music? How loudly? Check out the people who go to the restaurant. If you find it pleasant to be around these people as you eat your dinner, then go book a table. Maybe a specific table away from the kitchen doors and not under the air conditioner.

    Sometimes, you have to work when you’re in a restaurant. For meetings where you need to discuss serious deals, go to restaurants that have private rooms.

    3. Particular Cuisine Paired With the Right Wine

    There are evenings when you just want a particular cuisine. And if that restaurant is the only one available where you live, there is really not much choice. After coming back from Asia, many folks just go for that big chunk of beef. The revenge of the tidbits, they say.

    Other evenings, the menu has to be titillating to your taste buds. Especially when the restaurants are all clustered in an area and you have choices.

    The wine list is also important. In some restaurants, the wine list consists of highly-priced bottles of six wines all from France. Over overpriced bottles from you don’t know where.

    But often, there are two or three choices for a particular cuisine. Check out if their chef comes from the country where that cuisine is from. You are more likely to get the real thing and not the stylized version of it. There is nothing wrong with stylized cuisine as some of the real ones are hard to take anyway.

    Led Zeppelin‘s second album, the imaginatively named Led Zeppelin II, is one of the most influential records of all time. Across its 41-minute duration, the band started to move away from their explicitly blues-oriented sound and moved into the direction of the esoteric gargantuan they would become. Released in October 1969, the album features some of their best-loved tracks such as ‘Ramble On’, ‘Moby Dick’ and ‘Whole Lotta Love’. Sonically, it can be taken as the band acknowledging the end of the 1960s and the dawn of the ’70s. One of the band’s heaviest records, it is hailed as a progenitor of hard-rock and metal. Famously, the writing and recording sessions for the album came during a hectic period for the band. It was conceived between January and August 1969, and, remarkably, Led Zep had completed three American and four European tours whilst writing the record. This sense of always being on the move bled into the album’s sound. Each song was recorded, mixed and produced at a mixture of studios in the UK and America, including Olympic in London and Sunset in LA. Never before or after had a record been created so literally on the fly.
